At last, J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: The Force Awakens teaser trailer is here, and although it’s not even 2 minutes long, it is EPIC. We’ve got a Stormtrooper sweating it out in a desert-like planet, looking very panicked. There’s an adorable robot running (rolling?) for his life, and a scene that shows a bunch of Stormtroopers heading into (what looks like) battle. We’ve possibly got a new (or old) character zooming off into the distance, some X-wing starfighters blasting off, and a dark, nebulous figure storming through snow. The chilling voice-over that says, “There’s been an awakening. Can you feel it?” and then, “the Dark side. . .and the Light,” has us wondering what exactly has been awoken.

Suffice it to say, we don’t know much about what’s going on, or what this new installation will bring. But we’re sure it’s going to be amazing. John Williams is coming back to score the movie, so expect the same, great music and sound effects.

The movie doesn’t come out for another year (December 2015), but in the meantime, you can totally watch this trailer on repeat here.
