If you’re anything like us, you spent the eve of your 11th birthday waiting for your Hogwarts acceptance letter, physical proof that you were literally too cool for (Muggle) school. And, you’ve spent every day since then praying that your letter was simply on its way to you and is coming any day now, or just lost in the mail.

J. K. Rowling, master of the poetic tweet, reminded us that Hogwarts will always be there to welcome us home, and that in a sense, we did get our letters because we read the books and saw the movies.

Sure, Rowling made us feel a little weepy with that tweet, and we are glad we got to visit Hogwarts throughout our childhoods, but thankfully, our true desires for a real letter can also now be fulfilled. If you answer all seven questions in this quiz correctly, you will automatically get the letter you have always known you deserve!

And, if you’re wondering where your letter’s been for the past decade or so, also keep in mind that when Voldemort took over the Ministry of Magic in 1997, he destroyed their records of all witches and wizards born to Muggle parents between the years 1985 and 1998.

So…. if you were born in those years, there’s a HIGH probability that Voldemort has something to do with your delayed acceptance into the wizarding world.
