Beyoncé has shared the first picture of the twins, and it's suitably extra
In a bid to break the internet once again, Beyoncé has shared the first picture of her and Jay-Z’s twins, and it’s more incredible than we imagined. The singer gave birth to the twins last month following a pregnancy closely watched by the media and her fans.
You may remember that epic pregnancy announcement photo, which has gone on to become one of the most-liked pictures on Instagram. Then came the accompanying photo shoot, which proved that the Carters might just be the most extra family on the planet. Finally, Bey has been sharing snaps of herself looking radiant while rocking maternity fashion like a BOSS.
Now, in a bid to outdo herself, Beyoncé has shared the first picture of her new baby twins, Sir Carter and Rumi, and it’s absolutely everything.
The snap sees Queen Bey playing Mother Nature as she cradles her two new Beybies. The picture evokes her pregnancy photo, with the singer standing in front of a beautiful flower arrangement in a lush green garden.
Eek! Aren’t they just the most adorable little things?!
Of course, following the announcement, people on the internet were quick to absolutely lose it (one Twitter account even compared the picture to Sandro Botticelli’ “Madonna of the Pomegranate”).
One Twitter user picked up on a rather interesting difference between the pregnancy announcement and the twins’ picture: One was veiled, while in the latter photo Bey was now unveiled.
Both Rumi and Sir Carter join their 5-year-old sister, Blue Ivy, who recently made her rapping debut on her father’s most recent album. Clearly, the levels of talent in this family are high.
Outside of that, however, we want to wish Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Blue Ivy, Rumi, and Sir Carter all the happiness in the world, and we can’t wait to see even more family photo shoots in the future.
