Ready for the incredible story of an underdog, and his dog? We are! Well lucky us, because there’s a brand new trailer for the upcoming Peanuts movie and it is chock full of so many amazing Peanuts moments, it’s hard not to grin like a fool while watching it. The teary part of this trailer though is that it looks like Charlie Brown is trying desperately to change everything about himself. WHY? We don’t want you to change, Charlie Brown! We love you just the way you are. Maybe over the course of this movie he’ll learn to love himself too.

Peanuts started as a syndicated cartoon in 1950, written and illustrated by Charles M. Schulz. Now in 2015, Schulz’s son and grandson, Craig and Bryan, are bringing Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Linus, Lucy, and the rest of the gang to the big screen. The movie isn’t a big Hollywood reboot. It’s not a remake. It’s not even an updated version where Charlie Brown fights crime with a telepathic Snoopy. Nope. All Charlie Brown is trying to do is muster up the courage to talk to his new neighbor, the redheaded girl next door. It’s simple, it’s heartwarming, it’s totally relatable. (Though there is one little 2015 update, the visuals are now 3D.)

Along the way Charlie will get advice from Lucy (but remember, she’s going to charge 5 cents), and play a little baseball. It also looks like Snoopy will go up against his nemesis, the Red Baron, too. Our old friends are back, and thanks to some amazing animation — that even includes nods to the original comics — they look better than ever. Hopefully there’s a Peanuts dance party somewhere in the movie, too.

Check out the trailer on iTunes, and feel all sorts of warm, fuzzy, Peanuts feelings. The move opens November 6th.
