Last night, Saturday Night Live celebrated its 40th anniversary in the most perfect way it possibly could: it hosted a three-and-a-half hour long comedy RAGER that included old and new cast members and hosts from the old SNL days. It was epic. No proverbial stone was left unturned. Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake kicked off the night and did a rap of the key characters. Betty White and Bradley Cooper made out. Beyonce was Beyonce. Maya Rudolph was also Beyonce. Adam Sandler was wearing a terrible-but-awesome wig. Mike Meyers and Dana Carvey of Wayne’s World had a sweet reunion, the dynamic duo Tina Fey and Amy Poehler made an appearance and charmed us all like they always do, Kanye West sang while laying flat on his back because why not? Miley Cyrus was adorable. All in all? It was a crazy-awesome night. Happy 40th, SNL. You guys sure know how to throw a party.

And speaking of party, there was a LOT of behind-the-scenes partying happening backstage. Check out some of the best behind-the-curtains moments form last night:
