We've got our first look of 'Batman v. Superman'—and it's a doozy
The more news that’s revealed about the new Batman v. Superman: Dawn Of Justice movie (set to be released in the U.S. in March 2016), the more excited we are! Thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we’ve been gifted with a fantastic appearance of our three main superheroes on the cover of their upcoming July issue!
While we’ve been getting glimpses of each character so far, we haven’t gotten to see all three of them together in action—and in this case—striking some serious action poses. What’s really great about this photo in particular is how it showcases the character of Wonder Woman (played by Gal Gadot) and puts her right out in front of the boys. That being said, Henry Cavill’s Superman and Ben Affleck’s Batman look pretty intimidating in their own right.
Many fans were somewhat concerned that Wonder Woman’s appearance in the film might be limited—especially with plans to give her a solo film in the future—but this photo is a great indication that she’ll get her fair share of screen time.
Entertainment Weekly also snapped a few behind-the-scenes shots (including a particularly broody one of Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor). You can check out the entire photo gallery at their website and get even more psyched.
