A Backstreet Boy joined Britney Spears on stage in Vegas, and our '90s hearts can't take it
There was a convergence of ’90s nostalgia on Saturday night, as a member of the Backstreet Boys joined Britney Spears on stage in Las Vegas, and our #throwback hearts can’t actually handle it.
It’s no secret that Britney Spears is currently the Queen of the Las Vegas strip with her awesome and entertaining “Piece of Me” residency, which is rumored to be extending for a further two years. The singer, who is also set to perform a string of shows overseas this summer, also recently welcomed fellow ’90s stalwarts the Backstreet Boys to Vegas, too. The boyband (manband?) recently announced their “Backstreet Boys: Larger Than Life” residency at the Axis Theatre, where Brit also hosts her own show.
Well, it seems that Britney Spears has now also shared the stage with one particular member of the Backstreet Boys, and it’s seriously steamy.
The convergence happened during Britney’s “Piece of Me” show during the number “Freakshow,” which is taken from her album Blackout. During the performance, the singer usually brings up an unsuspecting audience member where she then proceeds to whip them and make them crawl on the floor like a dog. So far so Britney, right?
While performing her show on Saturday night, however, Britney decided to treat none other than Howie D. from the Backstreet Boys to be her sex slave during the performance, and it’s H-O-T!
Check out that dancing!
This isn’t the first time that Britney has dragged one of the Backstreet Boys on stage to whip and walk like a dog. In fact, back in 2016 the singer brought out A.J. McLean when he and Kevin Richardson attended the “Piece of Me” show back in 2016.
The singer also shared an adorable selfie with A.J. following the show, too .
Meanwhile, you can watch Howie’s full “Freakshow” guest spot below.
Britney Spears recently announced a string of live international shows for this summer. The singer will play Tel Aviv, Israel for the first time on July 3rd. BritBrit will also perform shows in the Philippines and Japan. For more information visit her website.
