This Bachelor contestant got engaged and we’re so happy for her

Hooray for love! If you can’t find anything else to root for, you always root for love. Bachelor fans are suckers for romance and have been up with love season after season, and even if your fave doesn’t wind up engaged on the show, we’re still pulling for them to find happiness. So, when former Bachelor contestant, AshLee Frazier announced her engagement via Instagram this week, we celebrated along with her. Because if anybody deserves to get engaged and be happy, it’s the contestants of this show.

AshLee was the second runner up from Sean Lowe’s season, eliminated before Sean choose Catherine Giudici, his now-wife and mother of his son, Sam. AshLee and Sean’s relationship ended on a sour note when she claimed Sean promised he only had feelings for her during their overnight date. Sean, of course, denies this, but AshLee cites this as the reason she felt so upset and surprised.

Even though the former Bachelor contestant is happily engaged now, she admits that Sean really hurt her feelings.

During the Women Tell All special, she had this to say,  "I was like, ‘Hello? Are you kidding me? That’s what you said to me on the overnight date. That’s why I was so blindsided. I thought I was going to be the last girl standing."

All that is water under the bridge now.  AshLee is a successful lifestyle blogger and couldn’t be happier with her longtime BF, Aaron Williams.

She told People, "After 10 years of friendship and 11 months of courtship I am marrying my best friend. We got engaged on the top of the Brooklyn Bridge. Very romantic. New York will have a little extra special place in my heart."

The former reality star and blogger took to Instagram to announce her engagement, captioning the pic with, “Sweethearts Forever” and the requisite celebratory emojis. In the past, AshLee has been linked romantically to fellow Bachelor-franchise alums, Brad Womack from season 15 and Michael Garofola.

But it looks like now she’s find her guy for real, and we couldn’t be more happy for her!
