Immersive Theatre has been on the rise with the popularity of shows like New York’s Sleep No More and the various types of escape rooms that have popped up all over major metropolitan cities. Well, now celebrities such as Anna Kendrick and Brittany Snow have joined the immersive fun for Halloween, visiting the Immersive Theatre experience of CREEP, where, according to the website:

CREEP is a fully immersive, multi-sensory experience in which groups of 8 are invited to explore hidden scenes, intimate encounters, and frightful situations.

As terrifying as it sounds, Anna Kendrick and Brittany Snow apparently had a frightfully fun time:

The show takes inspiration from artist Erebus Burwyck, who said:

“I don’t live in darkness; darkness lives in me.”

Ooof. That’s perfect for the upcoming Halloween holiday. And if CREEP‘s Instagram account is to believed, they have the go-to Halloween experience:

Even creepier

Seriously, CREEP‘s whole Instagram account is like going through that old book Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark.

No wonder they let you bring friends—this place looks terrifying. Nonetheless, we’re really glad Anna Kendrick and Brittany Snow are using their fame to shine light on smaller theatre productions. Now if only we could feel a little more confident in our ability to attend and not faint!
