Last month, when we heard that the absolutely perfect dynamic duo we all know and love — Amy Poehler and Tina Fey, obviously — were going to be hosting Saturday Night Live, we nearly passed out with excitement. And then, when we calmed ourselves down, we waited in nail-biting anticipation for one full month. A long time to wait for such a wonderful thing, but last night was THE NIGHT. And, as expected we were not disappointed.

Tina and Amy teamed up to host the very last 2015 SNL episode the day after their comedy, Sisters, hit theaters. . . and together, they gave us a lovely Christmas present: The best throwback ever.

In a Christmas skit, Kate McKinnon played a current-day Hillary Clinton who is visited by the “ghost” of her former self from 2008. And guess who plays 2008 Hillary? Yep, Amy. When today-Hillary tells 2008-Hillary that the Republican presidential frontrunner is Donald Trump, we watch 2008-Hillary-AKA-Amy fall to the ground in shock before screaming, “Oh my God, we’re going to be president!!!”

Then, just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, Tina pops up in a puff of smoke as Sarah Palin, who says, “Oh jeez, it looks like I went through time and space again.” And, well, we won’t ruin the rest for you. Watch the video below to see Tina and Amy in all their hilarious, political glory.
