Yesterday, we were feeling a lot of feelings when the newest cast photos from The Cursed Child, soon to appear at the Palace Theater in London, gave us our first glimpse of Harry and Ginny all grown up. Like, the perfect cocktail of excitement and nostalgia sprinkled with a little bit of magic. And now, Pottermore is giving us another lovely gift: cast photos of a grown-up Ron and Hermione with their daughter, Rose.

Hermione, Ron, and Rose are played by Paul Thornley, Noma Dumezweni, and Cherrelle Skeete, respectively. . . and IT’S ALL JUST SO PERFECT, YOU GUYS.

And no, they’re not the Weasleys, or the Grangers — they’re the Granger Weasleys. “It’s 19 years later when the play begins,” Paul told Pottermore. “Ron is married to Hermione Granger and they’re now the Granger-Weasleys. Our magnificent daughter Rose Granger-Weasley is about to start at Hogwarts, which is obviously a big day for everyone.”

J.K. Rowling told Pottermore that Noma is perfect for the part of Hermione, the most clever witch in the magic world. “I saw Noma workshop the part and when John Tiffany told me he’d cast her, I was overjoyed,” J.K. said. “She gets Hermione inside out.”

Telling Pottermore that she’s “so proud” to be in the play, Noma said:

J.K. also says that Paul makes sure to stick to the grown-up Ron we can all see in our hearts: goofy, laid-back, and hilarious. “Ron in his forties isn’t very different from Ron in his teens, except that his feet hurt a bit more,” she said. “Paul’s so funny and brilliant in the role.”

And as for Rose, she takes after her mother with her cleverness, but she’s got an element that Hermione doesn’t. “Rose is like her mother, but more secure, more grounded,” J.K. said. “She was born to wizards and knows her place in the world. Cherrelle plays her perfectly: bossy but deeply loveable.”

Cherelle’s feeling the same amount of excitement about playing the part that Rose would about heading to Hogwarts, she explained to Pottermore:

The Cursed Child hits will begin previews on June 7th and make its world premiere on July 30th. It’s already starting to feel oh-so-magical!
