Last time our ears were graced with a new Adele song, the year was 2012 and the song was “Skyfall.” It won an Oscar, a Grammy, and a Golden Globe (Translation: Adele’s last song literally won half an EGOT, like that’s no big deal). And the year before that in 2011, Adele released her last album 21, and it alone won seven Grammys. While it’s plausible that finding places for all those awards in your home can take a very long time, it’s now been THREE YEARS  since we last heard a sweet Adele song. It’s about time that changed, and it maybe just did.

Supposedly, Adele has released a sneak-peak at one of her latest songs, and as you can expect, everyone is freaking out about it.

The snippet is literally 25 seconds long, but it is 25 seconds of straight up FEELS that leave you with CHILLS.

Keep in mind it’s still not confirmed that this is in fact Adele. But it’s October, and not April Fools, and Adele is not one to toy with our emotions. She only gives us emotions. This could be the beginning of a beautiful relationship with her next album.

Stay tuned for any more updates on this very important Adele Watch.
