Reserve November 20th for an Adele listening party

Finally, a reason to dig out your old calendar! And maybe some Sharpies!

After nearly four years of  silence, Adele has announced plans to release her long-awaited third studio album, 25, on November 20.

The good news doesn’t stop there, though. Her hauntingly beautiful title track, “Hello,” which was previewed during a 30-second commercial spot during the UK’s X-Factor last month, will be available as soon as October 23. The song’s release will also be accompanied by a video, directed by Xavier Dolan.

The big announcement comes just days after Adele issued a heartfelt letter to her fans, where she apologized for her extended absence. She wrote, “My last record was a break-up record and if I had to label this one, I would call it a make-up record. Making up for lost time. Making up for everything I ever did and never did. Turning 25 was a turning point for me, slap bang in the middle of my twenties. Teetering on the edge of being an old adolescent and a fully fledged adult.” We definitely feel you on the whole teetering thing, Adele.

With less than a month to go until the album drops, we have ample time to stock up on tissues and any rare teas we may want to enjoy with this album. But before you head to Costco, you may want to check out 25‘s full track listing and Adele’s stunning album picture, after the jump.
