Remember ‘Halloweentown’? You can totally visit it IRL
October is fast-approaching and you know what that means? Halloweentown.
Thankfully, this film magically appears on Disney Channel each and every year, showering us all with a feeling of precious nostalgia. It’s also a great reminder of this classic Agatha Cromwell quote: “Being normal is vastly overrated,” which is basically the best response for everything. Really, Halloweentown is just an all-around GREAT film filled to the brim of a cauldron with GIF-worthy captions.
But – did you know that you can actually visit Halloweentown IN REAL LIFE? Yep. You can.
For years, St. Helen’s, Oregon has been keeping their Spirit of Halloweentown event under wraps (like the mummy in Under Wraps, another esteemed Disney original). They’ve been hosting this celebration annually and definitely don’t disappoint. Why? Because they recreate the ENTIRE Halloweentown set using the ACTUAL setup from the movie.
