Relax your body and mind with this DIY Calm Balm
De-stress all your muscles when you apply this calming DIY balm to your skin. It’s the perfect cream to rub on your temples after, say, a very long day at work. Infused with essential oils, this balm will be your go-to for ultimate relaxation.
To make this soothing DIY, start with a base of shea butter. Mix in almond oil, a couple drops of your favorite essential oils, and a few more ingredients. And for the fun part, you can even decorate each container by scent with colorful labels! Tip: feel free to add citrus and mint essential oils for a more awakening scent. Either way you’ll be obsessed with your new balm.

DIY Calm Balm
Materials:
Microwave safe pitcher
1/3 cup Refined shea butter
1/3 cup Almond oil
3 Tbsp. Beeswax pastilles
1/2 tsp. Lavender essential oil
1/2 tsp. Clary sage essential oil
1/4 tsp. Geranium essential oil
2 oz. glass containers
Adhesive labels (2 1/2 inch diameter)
White crayon
Paint brush
Watercolor paints
Instructions:
- Add shea butter, almond oil, and beeswax pastilles to the microwave safe pitcher. Microwave for 2 minutes and stir until beeswax is fully melted.
- Add essential oils.
- Pour the mixture into the glass containers. Balm will harden in approximately 30 minutes.
- For the labels, draw a design with the white crayon and paint over it with watercolors. Wait until paint has dried before unsticking the label and placing it on the jar lid.
