Latina beauty brand Reina Rebelde just launched its first influencer collab

Makeup brand Reina Rebelde (which means “rebel queen”) was founded by Regina Merson and calls itself a brand that’s “for Latinas by Latinas.”

“Our goal from the beginning has always been simple,” says the brand on its website. “Reina Rebelde is about the beautiful Latinas that make our community so powerful.” Now, Reina Rebelde is launching its first-ever collaboration, with Kay-Lani Martinez, aka @viva_glam_kay.

The 27-year-old social media beauty influencer is of Puerto Rican descent and has 1.4 million followers on Instagram alone. Martinez has co-created two products for the brand, which are inspired by her deep connection to her Puerto Rican heritage. First up is Rebel Eye Definer Liquid in “Bonita Bandera,” a bright blue shade, and Bold Lip Color Stick in “Alma Desnuda,” a nude lipstick.

Merson writes that she and Martinez “are proud to donate a portion of proceeds from this collaboration to UNIDOS, Disaster Relief & Recovery Program to Support Puerto Rico. We hope you will feel inspired by the love and cultural pride that was put into this collaboration!”

This gorgeous blue liner “was inspired by the stunning blue waters of my beloved Puerto Rico and the island’s most iconic song,” says Martinez.
