Reese’s is finally making the one change to peanut butter cups that you’ve always wanted

Just in case you thought Reese’s peanut butter cups couldn’t get any better, don’t worry—the candy company is about to blow your mind. The classic chocolate and peanut butter combo is pretty great on its own, but if you’ve ever bitten into a Reese’s cup and thought, “This could use more chocolate” or “This needs peanut butter,” all your problems are about to be solved.

On Tuesday, March 26th, Reese’s is launching a brand new twist on its peanut butter cups: Chocolate Lovers and Peanut Butter Lovers cups. Just as their names suggest, each product will feature either more chocolate or more peanut butter, so you can have your candy exactly the way you want it.

The new products are hitting stores soon, too—we’re talking mid-April. So if you feel the need to eat yourself into a candy coma ASAP (or if you’re putting together an Easter basket for someone special) the timing is ideal.

Reese's describes the Chocolate Lovers cups as having a "higher proportion of chocolate, richer and darker milk chocolate, and a thicker chocolate shell," while the Peanut Butter Lovers cups are all about a "higher proportion of peanut butter and a visible peanut butter-like top layer."

YUM.

If you need us, we’ll be counting down the days until we can try these new Reese’s peanut butter cups ourselves. They sound amazing.
