Reese’s is winning the Easter candy game with their new Peanut Butter Créme Egg
Easter season is always marked by the unveiling of new Easter-themed chocolates. And that is something we just can’t ignore. This can be demonstrated by our reaction to Reese’s revealing the Peanut Butter Créme Egg — because we feel as though we need this in our lives STAT.
The new Easter treat is Reese’s very own take on Cadbury’s Créme Eggs, except instead of a creamy fondant yolk-type filling, the eggs are filled with delicious peanut butter creamy goodness. It’s pretty much like eating a Reese’s peanut butter cup, only it’s shaped like an egg and ~festive~.
Oh, and when you purchase the new eggs, you don’t just get one, because who can eat just one? Reese’s is selling them in packs of five.
And since peanut butter is protein, the eggs are basically fine to eat for a meal, right? Probably?
Each egg comes individually wrapped with a tiny purple spoon, just in case you don’t want to shove the entire egg in your mouth. But TBH, we’d be fine eating them both ways.
Just look at this peanut-buttery amazingness:

What a time to be alive.
If egg-shaped chocolates aren’t your thing, perhaps you’d be more inclined to eat a bunny-shaped treat. Reese’s has also come out with a Milk Chocolate-Covered Peanut Butter Bunny, aka a Reese’s Reester Bunny.
Or, you know, you could always try both. Because let’s be honest, Easter baskets aren’t going to fill themselves. The more candy, the better! Specifically, chocolate-covered candy with delicious peanut butter filling, please.
