Reese Witherspoon just announced the July title for her book club, so here’s your next beach read

There is nothing better in the summer than kicking back on the beach with a good book. Reese Witherspoon just announced the July title for her online book club, so grab your towel, because this is going to be your next beach read.

July’s #RWBookClub read is…The Alice Network by Kate Quinn!

Reese announced her pick in an Instagram post this weekend, and readers are already diving into the story. This isn’t the first book in the #RWBookClub. Reese has impeccable taste in literature and has been sharing what she’s reading since way back in January 2016. The #RWBookClub even has its own Instagram account, which you should definitely follow for more beach read recommendations.

The Alice Network is a historical fiction novel about two women who come together in post-World War II England. One is a female spy who worked for the real-life Alice Network during World War I. The other is a young, pregnant American woman looking for a long lost cousin. They share a common bond that forces them to search for their own truths. Tell us more!

How do we know The Alice Network is the perfect vacation read? Because Reese is gearing up for a vacation herself at the moment, and she’s taking the book with her.

You may not have realized just how much Reese loves books. She recently starred in (and produced!) Big Little Lies, a television adaptation of Liane Moriarty’s novel, which was also a #RWBookClub pick. Reese also produced and starred in a film adaptation of Cheryl Strayed’s memoir Wild, which nabbed her an Oscar nomination for best actress.

And even bigger still, Reese bought the rights to Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn before the novel was even published, and the film adaptation was quite popular. So, it’s safe to say that she has a good idea of what books are going to be popular.

If Reese recommends The Alice Network, we’re running to grab a copy!
