Reebok gives Hillary Clinton’s pantsuit the athleisure treatment
If we were battling Donald Trump in a live, televised debate, we’d definitely get sweaty on stage. And while Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton has kept impressively calm under pressure during the last two debates, Reebok has helpfully designed some performance pantsuits for her — you know, just in case she still hasn’t picked out her outfit for tonight’s final head-to-head.
The three different looks — a jogger/jacket combo, a caped white suit and a black jumpsuit with matching jacket — are designed to be made with Reebok’s ActivChill fabric, which feels cool on the skin and wicks away heat. They also perfectly capture Clinton’s style while giving her beloved pantsuits a slightly more modern feel.
Perhaps the best part? All three athleisure suits would look chic AF with Clinton’s favored kitten heels, if the sketch below is any indiction.
Hey Reebok, when can we get these?!
Reebok’s senior director of brand management, Inga Stenta, said in a statement that the company wanted to highlight “power and strength” with the pantsuits.
She continued,
"Women like Clinton are tough and unapologetic. Although we don’t often see candidates sweat, the bright lights of the debate and the pressure of the national stage can raise temperatures. Performance wear seems to be the perfect choice for situations like this."
With the stakes so high in this election, candidates can use all the help they can get. And we think this is a pretty perfect getup for a future president, don’t you?
