This is Reddit’s favorite tee-shirt — and it’s only $5
When you think of the first place to go for fashion advice, Reddit probably isn’t at the top of your list. Fair enough. They’re better known for compelling fan theories and hilarious memes that made the second half of the work day go by faster. But there’s a subreddit called Male Fashion Advice that just turned everyone’s heads when this question was asked: “What’s a good brand for plain t-shirts?”
Apparently, Reddit says the winner is a $5 t-shirt on Amazon from Next Level. 767 customer reviews have rated the shirt at four and a half stars, and it’s one of the most popular shirts on all of Amazon.
It looks comfy, doesn’t it? It’s made out of 100 percent combed ring-spun cotton high-end jersey, it doesn’t shrink in the dryer, and there are a lot of different colors to choose from. Next Level has a few other t-shirt styles to choose from as well, including CVC crew, suede crew, and Tri-Blend crew, all of which also have four and a half star ratings. And obvs, just because it’s being marketed as a shirt for dudes doesn’t mean ladies can’t throw it on and feel its glory and comfort. (Also, if you want a different style shirt, visit Next Level’s website here.)
But let’s backtrack a little. How do we really know this is the best t-shirt out there? Well, when that question was asked on the subreddit page, more than 500 comments flooded in to help the inquirer get to the bottom of it, when similar questions on this page usually don’t get more than about 100 comments. Clearly, people felt strongly about this shirt, and they just couldn’t keep quiet.
The comments even went into detail about which fabrics they liked best, how many t-shirts they actually own (one person admitted they’ve got 30 in their closet), and how they fare in the washing machine. People were so thorough with their answers that we just might visit Reddit next time we’ve got a fashion question.
