Rebel Wilson had a mini “Pitch Perfect” reunion with Ben Platt!

Well, this only makes us want to rewatch Pitch Perfect! Castmates Rebel Wilson and Ben Platt had a mini-reunion this weekend after Wilson made a point to check out Platt in his new Broadway play, Dear Evan Hansen. Judging by the photo she posted on Instagram, it’s obvious that these two are close both on and off-set.

The show, which is currently running at the Music Box Theatre, opened back in December and is getting amazing reviews. Touted as being a musical about “life and the way we live it,” it definitely sounds like a must-see. In fact, stars like Tina Fey and Darren Criss even made a point to check it out during opening night last month.

As for Wilson, it seems like this is her first time seeing the show — but perhaps not her last.

"So proud of @BenSPLATT crushing Broadway! Flew in especially to see him tonight x #Tony," Wilson wrote.

We definitely wouldn’t be surprised if the show was nominated for a Tony Award or two.

Even sweeter, Platt took some time out to thank Wilson publicly for showing up.

(And how we adore them both!)

Platt’s role of Benji Applebaum was actually his first — Platt made his public debut in 2012 in the original Pitch Perfect. While he appeared in the second, it’s still a little unclear as to whether or not he’ll be featured at all in the third installment, due out at the end of this year. Many sources are saying that Platt and the Trebles likely won’t be involved this time around.

Before the movie was set in stone, Platt was definitely excited about the possibility of a third movie.

"You never know what will happen or where it will go. It’s not a done deal, but it’s definitely a possibility," he said to Vegas Magazine. "I’m sure, if it were to happen, that Hailee [Steinfeld] would play a really big role in that. She’s kind of taken on the legacy of the Bellas and so, who knows."

He predicted correctly — Steinfeld was definitely seen on set not too long ago.

No matter what, we’re so proud of Platt for taking over Broadway, and know we’ll end up seeing him back on screen sometime soon!
