Rebel Wilson is coming out with a seriously dope clothing line
Rebel Wilson — actress, Pitch Perfect star, and all-around funny, smart, and beautiful lady — has officially announced that she’s launching a clothing line with plus-size retailer Torrid later this year, and we are all kinds of excited to see it.
It’s no secret that Wilson is incredibly fashionable, and we always love what she rocks on the red carpet, so this latest venture makes perfect sense. From what we’ve heard so far, her collection sounds pretty darn amazing, and we can’t wait to see how her style translates to a full-fledged fashion line.
Rebel for Torrid will feature dresses, denim, jackets, accessories, and tops, all available in sizes 12 to 28. (Here’s hoping those amazing “THINK” faux leather leggings she wore at the MTV Movie Awards make the cut.) And, as Wilson joked on Twitter, in case you don’t fall into the brand’s size range, you can always just buy this adorable bag.
The collection will range in price from $28.50 to $125, and hits stores this November (just in time for the holiday season, so get those wish lists ready). Apparently, a collection for Spring 2016 is also already in the works — so there will be no shortage of Rebel Wilson amazingness anytime soon.
As if we weren’t already excited enough, Wilson also talked more about the collection in a statement made Tuesday.
According to Liz Munoz, the SVP of Design at Torrid, this wasn’t your normal celebrity collaboration. This is Rebel Wilson we’re talking about, after all. She was super involved in creating the collection from start to finish.
“Rebel’s got a natural instinct for design. She’s been totally hands-on throughout the process,” she said. “She cares about every detail, down to the diamanté rivet on the jeans. We love the results . . . she crushed it.”
Given that there are still so few fashionable and cute plus-size options, we’re stoked that Queen Rebel Wilson is here to help change the game.
