5 reasons why we need Britney and Justin back in our lives NOW

Sources are saying that Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake may join forces once again in the near future, so now we know there is some good left in this world. Britney and Justin aren’t reuniting romantically, so don’t get your hopes up. We mean professionally and musically. Word on the street (and this has not been confirmed yet) is that Britney recently invited Justin to join her on stage at her residency Las Vegas show. The best part is? Justin’s seriously considering it. #Omg, guys. Just, #Omg.

“Britney called Justin out of the blue and said she wanted him to come to Vegas and do a series of concerts with her,” a source reported to InTouch. Evidently Justin was totally “shocked” to receive the invite, “but he was definitely intrigued.”

I think it’s safe to say we’ve been dreaming about a reunion since they broke up in 2002. Can you believe it’s been that long?! We heard things didn’t end exactly end smoothly, but just the thought of them going through the rest of their lives without reconciling is almost too much to bear. So all we have to do now is sit back and keep our fingers crossed.

Here are five reasons we need Britney and Justin back together, and back in our lives. Pronto.

1. Revivals are all the rage right now — and this could be the best one ever.

There’s going to be a Gilmore Girls reboot . The X-Files already made a comeback. I mean, the Backstreet Boys are even hitting the stage after much time spent apart. So of course it would make sense to see Britney and Justin added to the list of high-profile revivals. There’s something inspiring about seeing these reunions. They make us believe that anything is possible, and that you can always start from scratch again no matter where you left off. What better message to send to the younger generation?

2. Britney and Justin MADE the ’90s and early 2000s.

It’s fun to revert back to those days when things seemed so much less complicated. The nostalgia is sweet as honey. Seeing Britney and Justin back together once again, though, will usher back to the ’90s in ways we never even thought possible. It would basically be the best time machine ever created.

3. It teaches us that time heals everything.

Were you as heartbroken as we were when the pop couple split? Of course you were, because you have a heart. Call us dreamers, but we really thought Britney and Justin could have made it to the end. So to see them split up — and see it happen with so much pain — shattered us. It made us briefly lose hope in a little thing called love. But their reunion would send an important message to the world that you really can reconcile and learn to forgive, even if things don’t work out like you planned. You don’t have to stay wounded forever. You see? Britney and Justin will never cease to teach us lessons in life and love.

3. It will be closure for all of us.

No more sleepless nights! No more wondering aloud whether they’re really, truly happy without each other! In other words, closure. That’s what we’ll get from seeing Britney and Justin rock it on stage together once again. We’ll know for sure that there are no hard feelings, something every last one of us deserves so we can finally move on with our own lives.

4. Um, we NEED another denim moment.

We’ll never be able to forget the denim moment. It’s infamous. We want it to happen again. And once it does, everything in the world will be complete and beautiful and the way it should be.
