We really hope these amazing new Lay’s chip flavors come true
We love any competition that encourages us to eat chips. And that’s why were ALL HERE for Lay’s “Do Us A Flavor” contest — the same one that gave us Southern Biscuits and Gravy last year (although we still wish West Coast Truffle Fries would have won, TBH). The contest is kicking off again for 2016, but this time, it’s got a new element: a “Flavor Swap.”
Essentially, Lays is going to be pitting four of its classic flavors against four brand new ones, and from February 8th to March 21st, we’ll be able to vote for our faves in four different categories: heat, cheese, barbecue, and spice.
Oh, and if you cast your vote, you’ll be automatically in the running for a $1,000 daily giveaway prize and $250,000 for one ultra lucky person. And it just takes a click or two! Currently, the website is unannounced, but we’d imagine we’ll be getting the deets soon.
According to a press release, the suggested swaps are:
Heat Category Old: Lay’s Flamin’ Hot New: Lay’s Fiery Roasted Habanero
Cheese Category Old: Lay’s Cheddar & Sour Cream New: Lay’s Smoked Gouda & Chive
Barbecue Category Old: Lay’s Honey Barbecue New: Lay’s Korean Barbecue
Spice Category Old: Lay’s Kettle Cooked Sea Salt & Cracked Pepper New: Lay’s Kettle Cooked Olive Oil & Herbs
Tricky, tricky. . . guess we’ll just have to eat all of them to be sure.
