We’re really excited about Uniqlo’s next collaboration
If you love all manner of high fashion-major retailer collabs, the latest Uniqlo collaboration announcement will have you cheering. The brand announced today that after successfully partnering with designers including Carine Roitfeld, Jil Sander, and Inès de la Fressange, it is set to team up with acclaimed British designer J.W. Anderson, and we couldn’t be more pleased.
Anderson is best known for launching the unisex trend that’s been sweeping catwalks around the world for the last couple of years, building insane momentum in the current adversarial political climate.

While we don’t yet know much about the details of the Uniqlo collection, we know it will be broad and accessible, according to the brand’s head of research and design. “We did everything: outerwear, sweaters, bottoms, shirts, accessories including scarves and a bag,” said Uniqlo’s Yuki Katsuta in an interview with HarpersBAZAAR.com.
"You can still feel J.W. Anderson's edgy inspiration, but the collection is based on a classic British style so that means fashion people can wear it, but also normal people can wear it very easily."
