“Raven’s Home” scored a second season, and that’s exactly what our future needs

With all those visions, Raven Baxter probably saw this coming — but the rest of us were psyched to learn that Raven’s Home is officially getting a second season.
Raven-Symoné’s That’s So Raven spinoff has more episodes in its future and we’re feeling it almost as much as teen Raven’s fly fashion designs. No premiere date has been announced, but the Disney Channel series will head back into production next month.
Needless to say, our TV future looks bright!

10 years after the original show left the air, the spinoff debuted — following the now grown-up Raven, her twins Nia (Navia Robinson) and Booker (Issac Ryan Brown), and her bestie and fellow single mom Chelsea (That’s So Raven‘s Anneliese van der Pol) and her son Levi (Jason Maybaum), who all live together in Chicago this time. Oh, and Raven’s psychic glimpses from the original series? Yeah, she still gets those. And so does Booker.
It seems like Raven-Symoné made the right call when she left The View to focus on the new series last year.
Because the actress, who also serves as an executive producer on Raven’s Home, told E! News that she’s happy to be back at home on the Disney Channel. “There’s nothing like coming to set and seeing people that I’ve worked with from the age of 15,” she said.
No word from Raven or Booker on what they’re seeing in the future, but Disney exec Adam Bonnett told Variety that fans will be tuning in for “many years to come.” Here’s hoping!
