The rarest baby names in the United States are the definition of creative

It’s no secret that celebrities have a knack for choosing the most unusual baby names they can get their hands on. However, they’re not the only ones who like to have a bit of fun when playing the name game! After all, it’s not like celebs have a patent or anything on strange baby names. (Or at least, not that we know of.)

To figure out exactly how uncommon baby names can get, we did a bit of digging to see what a select few parents have decided to name their offspring. Sadly, the Social Security Administration has not updated their official list for 2015 as of right now, but a recent survey was conducted by the US-based site BabyCenter. They reached out to over 340,000 in 2015 for their data and came up with names given to at least three babies born last year. Considering that about 4 million babies are born in the United States, on a yearly basis, we’re going to say that these names are pretty atypical.
