These rare tapes of a 10-year-old Beyoncé are being auctioned off for an insane amount of money

How much would you pay to own rare footage of a 10-year-old Beyoncé performing? Well, add another zero to whatever amount you’re thinking because MTV reports that an auction house in the UK by the name of Ted Owen & Co. is hoping to collect $3.8 million for videotapes of the Lemonade singer that show her honing her special powers (read: musical talent) before she blossomed into music royalty.

According to The Huffington Post, the 12 tapes that were retrieved from the original videographer’s garage contain two and a half hours of rehearsals and performance from before Beyoncé became famous, and somewhere members of BeyHive are frantically pooling together all of their resources in order to make the most important purchase of their lives.

In the event that you have your millions on reserve for something a wee bit more pressing, like feeding a small country or walking the Oscars red carpet, you don’t have to go without seeing this footage of baby Bey in action. Here’s a two-minute preview for your nostalgic viewing pleasure:

ZOMG, SO MUCH NEON AND CRIMPED HAIR. But hey, that’s the ’90s for ya. Now pardon us while we go and judge our 10-year-old selves for not being…Beyoncé? OK, we can’t really judge ourselves for that one.
