Here’s a video of random events happening in reverse that is incredibly satisfying to watch
Seeing everything around us happen in its natural order gets to be a bit mundane, so here’s a video of random events happening in reverse just to mix things up a little bit.
As Mashable reports, this captivating source of visual trickery comes from the mind of YouTube user Mark Hacks. If you enjoyed watching candy melt in reverse to classical music, then you should be thoroughly entertained by Hacks’ unique nod to Backward Day (which was fittingly three months ago) in which life happens in the opposite order to which we’re accustomed.
The video is two minutes and 18 seconds of stuff like a long broken tree branch being reassembled as if by magic (which sounds more interesting than reality), a batch of bubbles being summoned back through the blower and into the bottle and a flock of quacking ducks waddling backwards out of a wooded area.

So, we can’t actually justify why we took time from our day to watch this video, but oddly enough, WE WANT MORE, PLEASE.
Because we are eager to give the people (read: us) what they want, we present to you, the original Stuff in Reverse vid, which has nearly 190,000 views that provide reassurance that we’re not the only ones who have our priorities all screwed up:

“I can’t believe I’m watching this… Am I that bored?” asked one thoroughly confused YouTube commenter.
Yes, random internet person. Yes, you are. But try not to judge yourself too harshly. Sometimes in life you just have to go with the flow — even if it’s in reverse.
