Ramsay Bolton looks like a Hobbit and I can’t stop thinking about it

Know how sometimes you meet someone IRL, or you see a character up on the screen, and you think, “oh my gosh, they look so much like so-and-so!!” Then, every time you see them IRL, or on TV, that’s literally all you can think about to the point where it is driving you crazy, but there’s nothing you can do about it. It’s ingrained in your brain forever.

That’s what’s happening between me and Ramsay Bolton right now. Every time I look at him, I think, “he looks like he just came from the Shire.”

Specifically, I think he looks like Samwise Gamgee, Frodo’s BFF.

Look at the similarities!

Just look at them. They have the same facial structure. They have the same nose. In this case, THEY HAVE THE SAME HAIR. Where they differ, they do not have the same heart because Ramsy — if he even has a heart — is black on black, and Sam’s heart continues to grow and expand in size till it’s ready to burst. Ramsay, no way in hell, would ever carry Frodo up Mount Doom to destroy the One Ring.

I’ve been thinking about this comparison for a while. I really started seeing it the the beginning of Season 6 of Game of Thrones, and I cannot for the life of me shake it. Then I start imagining Ramsay hanging out with the whole Fellowship.

(Ned Stark, what are you doing here?)

Ramsay is probably the LEAST Hobbit-like character on Game of Thrones. Doubtful he partakes in both a first and second breakfast every single day. But for me, his likeness to a Hobbit is uncanny.

Ramsay’s so excited to go off on a big adventure!

For clarification purposes, the gentleman behind Ramsay, Iwan Rheon, does not look like a Hobbit.

Ok, wait, actually he kinda does a little bit. But there is absolutely nothing wrong with looking like a hobbit. Little 15-year-old Rachel had so many crushes on all the Lord of the Rings hobbits (Adult Rachel still kinda does, too).

So there you have it. There’s my odd notion that Ramsay could secretly someday wander into Middle Earth and no one would bat an eye at him. It just feels like he belongs there.

As for where he belongs in Westeros, the answer is nowhere because he’s THE WORST. Hobbit similarities aside.
