This ramen restaurant is a paradise for introverts (and ramen lovers!)

Like many of my fellow introverts, one of my greatest joys in life is eating a good meal in solitude. If you fall into this category as well, I have some amazing news for you because a new ramen restaurant is actually a paradise for introverts — you’ll see why. This phenomena is popular in Japan, but it only recently came to the United States when the new restaurant ICHIRAN opened in (where else?) Brooklyn.

How exactly does this work, you ask? When I say it's perfect for introverts, I'm not exaggerating. Customers go the restaurant alone, order their ramen dish of choice without actually speaking to a waiter, and then retreat to a private cubicle-like space to enjoy their meal.

In addition to never speaking to a waiter, you don’t even have to make eye contact during this fine dining experience (I told you this was a dream come true). You fill out a form with your ramen order and then use a button to signal that you’re ready to place the order.

When your dish is cooked up, a server slides it to your table through a partition. And, I have it on very good authority that the ramen is top-notch — it's "tasty AF," BuzzFeed reports.

The only caveat is that the lines are super long right now — but, luckily, you'll be surrounded by like-minded people so you won't have to worry about the ramen enthusiasts around you attempting to make awkward small talk.

Introverts have officially found the restaurant of our dreams.
