6am Raid of Julia Fox’s Father & Brother Reveals Tons of Illegal Stuff
Fox’s “mad scientist” brother is facing multiple charges, including manufacture of a machine gun.
The NYPD’s Ghost Gun Team raided the Upper East Side residence of Julia Fox’s brother and father, ABC 7NY reports. Authorities swarmed the apartment located on East 84th Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenues after neighbors sent in a tip about suspicious packages being delivered to their building.
The Daily Mail reported that the raid was part of a much larger ghost gun take-down operation that took place at 6 am on Wednesday morning.
According to ABC 7NY, police found pills, a pill press, and building materials for explosives such as pressure cookers and propane. Fentanyl, chloroform, heroin, and formaldehyde, were also amongst the items confiscated.
Additionally, officers found evidence of ghost gun-making. These can be put together using parts made with a 3D printer, ABC 7NY explained. Ghost guns are illegal firearms that aren’t traceable.

The NYPD has arrested Julia’s brother, Christopher Fox. He is facing changes of “criminal possession of controlled substance, manufacture of a machine gun, manufacture of a rapid fire modified device, manufacture of a dangerous instrument, criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a firearm and criminal possession of drug paraphilia,” per ABC 7NY.
This is Christopher’s first criminal offense. Thomas Fox, however, has not been charged. It’s understood that the Uncut Gems actress is estranged from her father and brother, and has been for quite some time. According to the Daily Mail, she once referred to her brother as a “mad scientist.”
In a statement to ABC 7NY, a spokesperson for the NYPD said, “The NYPD will continue to fight relentlessly against illegal guns – against both the steady proliferation of traditionally-manufactured firearms and the increasingly prevalent numbers of illegal, untraceable but fully functioning weapons known as ghost guns.”
As of this writing, Julia has not publicly commented on the raid or her brother’s arrest.
