Rachel McAdams is pregnant with her first child, and we know she’ll be a cool mom, not a regular mom

There’s some (potentially) big baby news today, as we’ve just learned that Rachel McAdams is pregnant with her first child. Though the actress has not confirmed this news herself, according to multiple sources who spoke to E! News, she’s expecting and we couldn’t be happier for her. Because if there’s anyone that we know in our hearts will be a cool mom, and not just a regular mom, it’s McAdams. This is so fetch, you guys.

The actress has been in way more things than just Mean Girls, and is currently starring in Game Night, opposite Jason Bateman. She also stole our hearts and made us cry ugly tears in The Notebook with Ryan Gosling, and is even part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Doctor Strange’s main squeeze, Christine. As E! News points out, the actress hasn’t been seen “out and about” lately, and she actually didn’t attend the premiere of Game Night on February 21st in Hollywood. Obviously, we want to give McAdams all the privacy in the world, for her and her new little one, since she might only be a few weeks or months along. But who knows. As Life & Style, who first reported the news, says in their headline, “Rachel McAdams Is ‘At Least Seven Months Pregnant.’”

So basically start getting ready for a surprise McAdams baby. We can’t wait until her kid gets to watch Mean Girls as a tween, and Wedding Crashers as an actual teen…and, uh, True Detective Season 2, if they’re up for that challenge. Sending lots of love to mom and new baby.
