Rachel Bilson is the latest celeb to spark rumors of dating a Bachelor as she flirts with Nick Viall
Bachelor Nation thinks Rachel Bilson might be dating former Bachelor Nick Viall, after eagle-eyed fans noticed the two flirting up a storm on Instagram. Of course, the flirting could all mean nothing. In fact, they could just be two single people who developed a cute friendship after doing a podcast together. Whatever their relationship status is, one thing is for sure: There’s no denying that the “Bachelor contestant dating a celebrity after the show is over” trend is very real.
The rumors all started back in July when The O.C. alum appeared on The Viall Files. On the podcast, she discussed dating as a mother after her split from actor Hayden Christensen, telling the reality star that she hasn’t dated anyone seriously enough to introduce them to her 4-year-old daughter, Briar Rose, yet.
“She has not met anyone as of yet and it would have to be someone I know I’m going to be with," the actress told Viall. "It would have to be a very serious relationship."
While there was nothing super telling about their compatibility in the interview other than their easy banter (and even some visible chemistry), Bilson did leave a message on Viall’s Instagram that could be interpreted as flirty.
He posted a photo with the caption, “Will we choose to forgo our individual rooms…” which Bilson commented, “He slid into her…..dms #sheaccepted.”
Since then, Bilson and Viall been regularly commenting on each other’s photos.
Other things Viall has commented include, “Cute dress” and “nice foliage.” Meanwhile, Bilson has publicly complimented his “Sweet cuffs,” as well as liked a photo of Viall in which he captioned, “Checking her out knowing she’s with me.”
If there is something romantic going on between these two (and we secretly hope there is), they’ll be the third celebrity and Bachelor contestant to pair up in recent months. People reports Demi Lovato and Mike Johnson, from Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette, are “hanging out.” They’ve also exchanged cute online banter.
There’s also Tyler Cameron and Gigi Hadid, who have been making headlines this summer after going on multiple dates in New York City. They have yet to make it official, but he did support the supermodel at her grandmother’s funeral.
Then, of course, there’s the couple who pretty much started the trend: Wells Adams and Modern Family star Sarah Hyland, who got engaged this summer.
We’ll have to wait for either Bilson or Viall to confirm if they’re officially dating, but until then we’ll be closely watching their Instagram feeds for more flirty messages.
