The Queen is gorgeous in green at her big London birthday bash

Queen Elizabeth II turned 90 years old on April 21, but like the QUEEN that she is, she knows how to stretch a birthday out as long as possible. (We get it, Your Majesty. Rock that birthday for all that it’s worth!)

The Queen’s official public birthday celebration has been going on this weekend in London, and TBH we’re kinda wishing we’d made the trip across the pond for the big bash. For starters, check out what she’s wearing for her birthday par-tay. Neon green! At 90! false

That coat! That hat! That sparkly AF brooch! The little white gloves! She looks AMAZING. Seriously, I barely even noticed Prince Harry. (And that never happens. Like, ever.) This outfit choice is a complete royal win.

After a carriage ride through the streets of London and the annual Trooping the Colour birthday parade, the royal family gathered on the balcony of Buckingham Palace for the Royal Air Force birthday flypast. (Where of course the queen was front and center in her gorgeous green ensemble.) false

The balcony appearance was extra-special because it marked the first time we’ve seen little Princess Charlotte on the royal balcony. She nailed her balcony debut, obviously. And in other completely adorable news, if that outfit Prince George is wearing looks familiar, it’s because it’s the same one that his dad, Prince William wore when he was a toddler at baby brother Prince Harry’s christening. OUR HEARTS!

We’re not sure what went down after the royals left the balcony and went inside, but we’re hoping it involved cake. Just saying.

HBD, Your Majesty!
