Girl group stans rejoice, because the Pussycat Dolls are back
The year is 2005, and every iconic song on the radio is by either Rihanna, Kanye West, OR the Pussycat Dolls. When we found out that PCD was reuniting, our inner teen squealed. This unapologetically sexy girl group gave us the perfect hybrid of girl group nostalgia + the absolute choreographical slayage we came to associate with our fave early aughts stars like Britney Spears. The Pussycat Dolls seemingly came and went, but not before dropping hints like “Don’t Cha” and “Buttons.” Well, if Fifth Harmony didn’t fill the girl group-shaped hole first in your heart first carved out by the Spice Girls, then the resurgence of PCD might just do it for ya.
Besides an unreliable tabloid report, the band has also rebooted their Instagram and official website.
The new website’s URL is PCDReunion.com, and it calls for fans to sign up for the mailing list for updates. Their Instagram is wiped clean, except for a single photo about the reunion.

The band was formed in 2003 and officially disbanded in 2010. Despite their seven-year tenure as a band, the group lost members, Nicole Scherzinger launched a solo career, and the band fizzled as boy and girl bands often do. None of the OG members have commented on the reunion yet; however, since the domain and Instagram keep using the word “reunion,” we assume the original members are all on board. Look how well The Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block have done with reunion tours.
It’s only been seven-ish years since the group disbanded, and sure, that might not be long enough to warrant a reunion, but bring on the Dolls, we say. We also wouldn’t be mad at a One Direction reunion in about five years either.
