Puppy photo booth is the best thing ever (oh, and it helped get lots of animals adopted)
Your selfie game might be strong, but it’s time for all of us to make way for the true selfie royalty that we just discovered in this adorable puppy photo booth set up at a dog shelter. Puppies of all shapes, sizes, and breeds are mugging their adorable puppy faces at the camera, and it is more Instagram-worthy than pretty much anything I’ve ever seen in my entire life. And the best part? Not only are these precious pups making everybody’s day with their cute pics, but the pictures themselves are helping the animals get adopted. Never underestimate the power of a good selfie, right?
The awesome campaign is run by the Humane Society Of Utah, a rescue and adoption organization, and spearheaded by photographer Guinnevere Shuster. The images are especially remarkable because they manage to perfectly represent the unique personality of each dog. Normally when you go on a pet adoption website, you get grainy images, or images that show that the photographer hasn’t taken the time to get to know each dog well enough to accurately portray their personality. It is both refreshing and hilarious to see Shuster’s case. Each dog got not just one, but four pictures, set in a neat grid side-by-side. All of the pictures captured a different side of each dog’s personality, so you get the impression that you actually know them before you meet them.
The photos were then posted to the organization’s website, where people interested in adopting could look for new furry friends. Humane Society of Utah is happy to report that every single one of the dogs you see in the pictures here was adopted, and living in a happy new home, thanks to the distinctly fun pictures on the site. Hopefully this is a trend that takes off — whose dream job wouldn’t be taking pictures of friendly puppies all day? I mean, come on, just look at this four-legged buddies:
