This story about a flipped truck of puppies has a happy ending
These days, the news seems scary as hell. So in these uncertain times, we’ll take any good news we can get. One of those pieces of good news is pawticularly adorable.
A truck filled with 100 puppies (!) flipped over in upstate New York, but luckily all parties (and pups) involved ended up okay.
When police arrived at the scene, they understandably didn’t know what to do with so many pups. So they called the Finger Lakes SPCA for help, and the result: A puppy rescue more epic than any since, probably, 101 Dalmatians.
Why were there 100 puppies in that truck? Though sadly, puppy mills also use mass puppy transit, the puppies in the truck were all healthy. The only exceptions were those injured in the crash itself.
The FLSPCA had some help in moving the puppers. One towing company, T&R Towing, chipped in to help, and well:
Be still, our hearts.
Since January 24, the day of the truck accident, several of the pups have found homes. One of them is this cutie Hansel; his jaw was fractured in the accident, but he’s since recovered:
Yeah, I’ll take whatever cuteness I can get these days. Read the full statement from the FLSPCA below:
Um, I’m just going to look at their Facebook and cry a little. Because when all else in the world is crap, puppies will never let you down.
