The Internet is arguing about when to break out the Pumpkin Spice everything

As you may know, September 1st means Pumpkin Spice Season is officially here… or does it? Now, the Internet is arguing about when Pumpkin Spice Season begins. When will people officially break out pumpkin flavors and products? Well, some places, like Dunkin’ Donuts for example, have already intro’d their pumpkin spice fall line of drinks and donuts. People ~thought~ Starbucks would launch their famous Pumpkin Spice Latte on September 1st since they released a Facebook Live video that morning called the “PSL Pumpkin Hatch.” But, it has yet to happen, leaving many Starbucks coffee drinkers/PSL addicts thirsty for it.

Rumors say the Pumpkin Spice Lattes will be released any day now.

And some Starbucks customers were told Tuesday, September 5th will be the date — aka their new favorite day of the year.

Even though we’re still patiently waiting to get our hands — and mouths — on a Starbucks PSL, other places have yet to release their pumpkin products, too, like Krispy Kreme. They won’t be launching their Pumpkin Spice Original Glazed Doughnuts until September 8th. And even then, you’ll only be able to get them on September 8th.

So, back to the issue at hand: Pumpkin Spice Season. Too soon? Too late? Right on time? Of course, people on Twitter had opinions on the topic.

Some people were genuinely surprised that the flavor has already started launching.

However, we’re feeling more like this.

While half of the Internet couldn’t wait much longer for fall flavors to launch, the other half thinks pumpkins belong only to October. And others think we should just let every holiday have its season and not get ahead of ourselves.

TBH, whether or not you think it’s too soon for Pumpkin Spice to fill the air — and your drinks, and your food — the good thing is, you don’t have to partake if you don’t want to. However, we’re more on the side of this dancing pumpkin and ~are~ excited about it. After all, it could be Pumpkin Spice Season 365 days a year and we’d be down with it.

Now, if you’ll excuse us, we have some pumpkin-flavored treats to go indulge in.
