And finally, there’s this pug dancing to ‘Hotline Bling’
It’s been about a week since the world was first graced with Drake dancing to his own “Hotline Bling.” With something this good in our lives, obviously imitations, spoofs, and memes were only a matter of course. But none of us probably guessed that the best one would come from a cute little pug named Helmut who looks super good in a cable knit sweater. Drake’s suddenly got some pretty tough competition.
Li’l Helmet isn’t even a year old yet, but he’s got his own Facebook page (of course, and we wouldn’t have it any other way). He’s “livin’ the pug life in Toronto,” and that clearly involves his humans dressing him up in Drake-inspired costumes, and making him wiggle his little tail to “Hotline Bling.” Oh sorry, “Pugline Bling.”
The video has been up for for six days and has already gained over 62,000 views. How many views does YOUR video have, Drake? Oh, over 4 million? Well, just you wait. Helmut is going to catch up to you eventually. And since you guys already both have matching outfits, how about you take your show on the road together? Drake won’t need any sort of backup dancers if he’s got Helmut. NO ONE can resist a pug dancing.
