This is totally fake news, but Ryan Gosling will be in “Psych: The Movie”
We’re just a few months away from the premiere of the highly anticipated Psych: The Movie, so stars James Roday and Dulé Hill are clearing up a few rumors — while starting a few of their own.
Just a month after officially getting back into Psych shape, Roday and Hill are back in character as squabbling besties Shawn Spencer and Burton “Gus” Guster.
And they’re giving us the inside scoop on what may (or may not) appear in the first of hopefully many Psych films.
Shawn informs viewers that the film will be in theaters (it won’t be), starring Ryan Gosling (it’s not, but could you imagine?), and will be in 3-D (nope!), but Gus attempts to set the record straight.

Sorry Gus, but we’ve heard it both ways.
What we do know for sure is that Roday and Hill will be joined by OG Psych co-stars.
Like Maggie Lawson, Kirsten Nelson, and Corbin Bernsen. Plus, Timothy Omundson, who will appear only briefly as he suffered a stroke just before production on the movie began. They’ll face off against a new villain, Thin White Duke (Zachary Levi), who targets one of their own during the holidays.
The film, which creator Steve Franks hopes will be the first of many, will also see the return of many fan favorites from the series, from the long-dead Mary Lightly (Jimmi Simpson), bizarre-but-lovable Coroner Woody (Kurt Fuller), and beleaguered training officer Nick Conforth (Ralph Macchio).
While we don’t know too much else about the upcoming film, we’ll be armed with pineapples and killer one-liners. Not to mention, we’ll be prepared for disappointing news about Pluto (that’s messed up).
Psych: The Movie will air on USA in December.
