Who produced “Black Panther”? They’re super into the Marvel universe

If you’re a living human on Earth right now, chances are you’ve already seen Black Panther. And if you haven’t, you’re probably planning to. For those of us who have made the trip to Wakanda, it’s easy to see that so much work went into this film, not only making it a success in the Marvel universe but also creating a pop culture phenomenon. But who produced Black Panther? As it turns out, the people behind the film are well qualified for the job.

David J. Grant and Kevin Feige produced the movie, and both of them have a lot of experience where Marvel is concerned. Feige is actually the president of Marvel Studios, and he’s pretty proud of what they were able to accomplish with Black Panther. In an interview with ABC News last month, he called it “the best movie we’ve ever made,” and it’s hard not to agree with him. Not only did the film tell an incredible story (with ridiculous visuals, might we add), but it also finally offered up the kind of representation comic book movies have been lacking for years. It’s hard not to fall in love with Black Panther at first viewing, right? Who didn’t leave the theater wanting to see the movie again?

Feige’s fellow producer, Grant, has also had ties to the studio for some time now. In fact, according to his IMDb page, he’s worked on several of their movies recently — he co-produced both Guardians of the Galaxy movies (and the upcoming third installment), as well as Ant-Man, Doctor Strange, and Thor.

Obviously, when Grant and Feige’s powers combined with director Ryan Coogler’s — and the insanely talented Black Panther cast — they were able to make some serious magic. So far, Forbes says the movie has made over $897 million worldwide, and it’s only been out for three weeks. These producers ought to be patting themselves on the back for a job well done right about now.

Now, all we have to do is wait for the official announcement that Black Panther 2 is coming. With a massive box office hit like this one, there’s no way we won’t be returning to Wakanda.
