Kate Middleton personally took Prince Louis’s first official portrait, and he’s as cute as can be
Kate Middleton: Duchess, philanthropist, fashion icon, and…photographer? The royal family just shared Prince Louis’s first official portrait, and we were absolutely delighted to find out that Middleton snapped the photo herself. We can’t decide which is cuter: the portrait, or how proud mum Middleton is to show us her latest addition.
Of course, we already knew that the duchess was a talented photog. Back in 2016, in honor of Princess Charlotte’s first birthday, the royal family released a series of sweet pictures that Middleton herself took. So it’s no surprise that her photos of Prince Louis (pronounced Loo-ee) are just as beautiful.
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share two photographs of Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, taken by The Duchess at Kensington Palace,” Kensington Palace shared on Instagram. “This image of Prince Louis was taken by The Duchess of Cambridge at Kensington Palace on 26th April. The Duke and Duchess would like to thank members of the public for their kind messages following the birth of Prince Louis, and for Princess Charlotte’s third birthday.”
Prince Louis’s first official portrait is quite possibly the most adorable royal portrait in history.
Kensington Palace also shared another super precious photo taken by the duchess. This one features Prince Louis with his older sis on her third birthday.
We’re so happy that Prince Louis is settling in at home and that everyone is happy and healthy.
Like we said, Middleton is known for taking gorgeous photos of her growing family. She snapped these lovely pics of Charlotte before her first day at nursery school:
And she also took these two of Prince George with Princess Charlotte, shortly after she was born:
We can’t wait to see more of Middleton’s photography skills in the future. Maybe one of all three royal kiddos together?
