Will Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Move Into Prince Andrew’s Old Rooms?
A source says the pair could house swap with the disgraced duke, taking his spot at Buckingham Palace.
Last week, it was reported that King Charles evicted Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from their UK home at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor. Fans got an inside look at the couple’s first home together in their explosive Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan.
While the couple doesn’t currently reside there, the cottage has been looked after by Princess Eugenie. Though, she may be getting the boot, too — out of advantage for her father, no less.
It’s been widely speculated that King Charles will hand over the keys to Frogmore to his disgraced brother, Prince Andrew, who was recently ordered to vacate his 30-room mansion as well as his old suite inside Buckingham Palace. The latter of which, a source says, may go to Harry and Meghan.

“His Majesty is furious, as is William. But the King is not a bad man. He has no wish to see his brother Andrew homeless or penniless. Nor does he wish to deprive the Sussexes of a base in the UK,” a source told Daily Mail.
The suite also has been a base for ex-socialite and convict Ghislaine Maxwell, a former acquaintance of Prince Andrew’s, who he once hosted alongside convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
“London is a better fit. The Sussexes have always wanted rooms at Buckingham Palace. They could have Andrew’s old rooms there, which are currently being vacated,” the source added.
Meanwhile, Prince William and Kate Middleton could be getting a residence upgrade themselves. The source said that Royal Lodge, Andrew’s former residence of 20 years, could be the Prince and Princess of Wales’ new home.
“Royal Lodge is far too grand and much too big for Prince Andrew’s current status,” the source said. “Plus it is geared towards children, with its Wendy house and pool, so of course it has long been the natural choice for Prince William.”
Their current home, Adelaide Cottage, is now being considered “unsuitable” and “too small for a future King and Queen.” Security is also a concern, the source added, noting they’re running out of space.
If that’s the case, the keys to Adelaide Cottage could be passed down to Eugenie. She and her husband are expecting their second child. Though based in the UK, they spend a majority of time at their residence in Portugal.
