There’s a Prince Harry Lookalike Purse Snatcher on the Loose in the UK

Prince Harry may have relinquished his royal duties, but he’s likely not hard up for cash. But a man who is the Spare author’s spitting image is — and is allegedly snatching designer purses from women in the UK.
Police are hunting for a Prince Harry lookalike caught on surveillance cameras smashing a parked car’s window and stealing a Louis Vuitton handbag from inside.

The NY Post reports that Hertfordshire Police — a county just North of London — posted the ginger-haired man’s image on its Facebook page after it received a barrage of comments due to the man’s strong resemblance to the Duke of Sussex.
Police not only took down the post, but appear to have deactivated the department’s page altogether — but only after it went viral. Some hilarious comments included “Rare footage of Harry without Meghan Markle has emerged,” “He’s hard up now that daddy isn’t paying for him,” and “Wow, Harry has hit a new low.”
Police have not shared why they removed the post, which reportedly included a plea for anyone with information to contact them, reports the paper.
The report of the lookalike thief comes amidst drama and turmoil coming out of the palace over Harry and Meghan’s involvement in the upcoming coronation of King Charles and whether or not Harry and his estranged brother Prince William will stay away from each other at the event.
