Prince Harry + this sweetheart pup= the most precious of pics
Though Prince William and Kate Middleton’s days-old daughter Princess Charlotte has the “Royal Family Official Cuteness Representative” role pretty well covered, her Uncle Prince Harry just made an awesome contribution to the Royal Family’s adorbs cred recently in Australia, where he just finished up a month-long deployment.
Though there are tons of action shots of Prince Harry exiting helicopters via fast rope and boarding a ship by way of a ladder swung over the side, our favorite pic of the bunch is the Prince getting a solid hug from man’s best friend.
Let’s unpack this image, shall we? Harry is hugging a dog that comes up to his sternum and they’re wearing MATCHING OUTFITS. Well played, Prince and Pup, well played.
As much as we would love this story to end with Harry taking this Aussie sweetheart home with him to toss around tennis balls in Buckingham Palace, as Entertain This reports, the dog is actually a working military dog and a member in full standing of the Australian army, and therefore had to stay Down Under to continue to serve his country.
