This birthday portrait of Prince George. Our hearts.
A huge happy birthday is in order for our real-life little prince, George. The tot turns two TODAY! Two! Can you believe it? It feels like just yesterday we were welcoming him into the world. Time flies crazy fast, you guys.
In honor of his birthday, Kensington Palace — you know, the royal residence and sometime home of his mom and dad, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, William and Kate — has released a brand-new pictures of the little guy. This never-before-seen shot was snapped on the day that his little sister, Princess Charlotte, was christened. And now, perfectly timed for his birthday, the image has been released so the whole world can bask in its precious glory.
One word: adorable. Four words: oh my gosh, adorable.
The image was shared yesterday on both Kensington Palace’s Twitter and Instagram, because they’re cool like that. That also means that today is the BIG DAY for Prince George, and he has grown up so so much in two short years. Now he’s got way more golden hair, but less chubby cheeks (but we wish the chubby cheeks could stay around forever). Get a lot of that big grin being flashed by both dad and son — and let’s agree that Prince George looks so much like his dad.
And while we’re here, we might as well look at some more pictures of Prince George, just to see how much he’s grown, right? Right. It only seems appropriate. It is his birthday after all. Today’s all about him.
