“Pretty Little Liars” fans, please pay attention to Shay Mitchell’s nails right now
If you’re a fan of the hit Freeform series, Pretty Little Liars, you have likely already watched last night’s season finale. If you haven’t, watch out: Spoilers are pretty much everywhere, but thankfully, not in this post — or on Shay Mitchell’s nails.
While we know that there is a chance Pretty Little Liars will wrap up for good after next season, that doesn’t mean there weren’t a whole lot of twists and surprises in Tuesday’s episode. While the episode itself was airing, actress Shay Mitchell, who plays the role of Emily Fields on the show, posted a photo to Instagram that had fans absolutely buzzing. Surprisingly, the photo wasn’t of a behind-the-scenes moment, or even of the actress’s face or reaction to the episode. Nope, it was of her nails:
As you can see above, the actress has the word “LIAR” spelled out across her fingernails in nail polish, complete with a “bloody” background and everything. What does this mean? Unfortunately for us, Mitchell doesn’t explain much in her caption, and instead encourages her followers to live-tweet the season finale along with her. It seems like this is just another piece of the puzzle meant to keep fans guessing what happens next!
