President Obama shared his workout playlist and we’re PUMPED UP

Without question, President Obama has hip taste in music. Wired just let us know that he revealed his workout playlist on Spotify, and it includes some big tracks like Nina Simone’s “Sinnerman,” Beyoncé’s “Get Me Bodied” and Jay Z’s “Off That.” Of course, he snuck in “Let’s Get it Started” from The Black Eyed Peas, because that’s the definitive tune for anyone who’s needs a quick boost of adrenaline! Hmm, this reminds us of the time Obama got hyped for his DNC speech with a power rap and shared his summer music playlist!

And to show how diverse his taste is, Obama threw in Courtney Barnett’s “Elevator Operator” and settled on some electro vibes with Icona Pop’s “Emergency.” We dig the fact that he doesn’t just go for dude tracks. These are really interesting songs by internationally-renowned female artists.

And the fact that he digs Queen Bey? SO MUCH YES.

The most surprising entry in his playlist is probably “If You Love Somebody Set Them Free” by Sting, because it’s not a fast-paced song that inspires one to do crunches or push-ups. But it IS super sweet, so in a way it makes us love POTUS even more!

Now if this playlist doesn’t get you excited to break into a sweat, we don’t know what the world is coming to. So all together now: grab your headphones and get that bootie moving and shaking to the beat—fast or slow, it doesn’t matter!

Maybe even add your own tracks to this playlist, because Obama has paved the way for us to enjoy a great musical adventure. Working out is meant to be fun, remember.
